Mark your calenders for September 10th!
On the second Saturday of September, Pastels on 5th will take place adjacent to the Loveland Museum/Gallery on 5th and Lincoln in downtown Loveland.
Artists and businesses and downtown will come together to raise awareness and funds for Alternatives to Violence (ATV) and the Loveland Safehouse. Community members are invited to this free event to support the thriving Loveland arts community and local businesses.

Pastels to Brighten Fifth Street in downtown Loveland
Event Day
At 8am Saturday morning, artists arrive to start drawing. Everyone in the community is invited to come watch the sidewalk canvas come to life!
There will be live music and a kids' area where the kids can create their own sidewalk masterpieces!
A reception for Artists and Sponsors will take place from 11am-2pm in the Foote Gallery inside the Loveland Museum.

- Sponsors "buy" a sidewalk canvas
- 4x4 Canvas - $125.00
- 5x6 Canvas - $200.00
- The sponsor's name will appear at the bottom of each piece of sidewalk art, or will be incorporated into the artwork itself
- With a donation of $500 or more, you may become an "Event Sponsor." Event sponsors receive a 6x6 canvas directly in front of the Loveland Museum.

Are you an artist of the culinary variety? You can get in on the action as well!
What is a festival without food?! You can help make this event a huge success, as well as have an opportunity to showcase your restaurant. We would like to invite you to participate by selling items off your menu to the public. This event is FREE to the public and we anticipate several hundred people walking 5th street on September 10.

Artists
Artists will receive great exposure using their talents to create a piece of sidewalk art.
- We provide the pastels, gloves and the sidewalk canvas. You bring knee pads, paint brushes, water bottles and your creativity.
- Professionals, amateur and student artists are encouraged to participate in this event. High school art teachers, please ask talented students to sign up for the event!
- Artwork must be appropriate for a family event - no adult themes, nothing political.
- If you would like to participate as an artist, please fill out an artist form and send it to Alternatives To Violence
